Shipping & Installation Policy
At Project Blinds, we believe in keeping things clear, simple, and stress-free—right from the moment you place your order to the final installation of your bespoke window treatments. Here’s everything you need to know about our process.

Custom-Made, Just for You
Every product we offer is made to order, tailored specifically to your windows and your style. Because of this, we work with trusted partners to deliver the highest standards in craftsmanship and quality.
Our typical production and shipping timelines are:

Blinds: Approximately 8 weeks from order confirmation

Shutters: Approximately 16 weeks from order confirmation
We always do our best to meet these timeframes, but please allow for the possibility of additional time due to global shipping delays or supplier lead times.

Payment Terms
To help make the process as smooth and transparent as possible, we’ve structured our payments in three simple stages:

50% Deposit – This is required to confirm your order and begin the production of your custom-made blinds or shutters.
Please note: As all products are bespoke, no items will be ordered until this deposit is received.

40% Payment – Due when your order arrives at our facility and is ready for installation.

10% Final Payment – Payable once your installation has been completed to your satisfaction.
We accept a variety of payment methods and are always here to assist with any billing questions.

Installation Scheduling
Once your order has arrived and passed our quality checks, our team will be in touch to schedule your installation at a time that’s convenient for you.
Our installation slots are typically booked 2 to 3 weeks in advance, so we recommend confirming your appointment early to secure your preferred date.
On installation day, our expert fitters will ensure everything is installed with care, precision, and minimal disruption to your home.

Return & Exchange Policy
At Project Blinds, every product we create is custom-made to your exact specifications. From precise measurements to hand-selected materials, your window treatments are designed just for you.
Bespoke Products – No Returns or Exchanges
As all our blinds, shutters, and automated solutions are bespoke and made to order, we are unable to accept returns or offer exchanges once your order has been placed and production has begun.
This policy helps us maintain the highest level of quality and craftsmanship, ensuring that every product is tailored specifically to your home.
Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If your product is faulty, damaged, or does not meet the agreed specifications, we will of course resolve the issue in line with our legal obligations.

Warranty Policy
At Project Blinds, we are committed to delivering high-quality, long-lasting window treatments. All of our products are crafted with precision and care, and we proudly stand behind them with the following warranties:

Blinds – 1-Year Warranty
All custom blinds are covered by a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

Shutters – 5-Year Warranty
Our bespoke shutters come with a 5-year warranty, covering structural integrity, finish, and manufacturing defects under standard residential conditions.

Support After Warranty Expiry
If your product is outside of the warranty period, we regret that we are unable to offer complimentary repairs or replacements. However, we are happy to assist with a repair service.

Call-out Charge: £150 (includes the first hour of labour)

Additional labour or parts may incur further charges, which will be confirmed before any work is undertaken.
Please note: A site visit may not always be necessary. In many cases, we can resolve issues remotely.
To help us assess the problem efficiently, we kindly ask you to send clear photographs or a short video of the fault via email. This will allow our team to review the issue and advise on the best course of action.
